The council made the decision to rename the M.A. Dramatics course to Master of Performing Arts (MPA, Dramatics).
Addressing the transition to the new education policy, the council set a maximum completion period of six years for courses previously under the annual system. This pronouncement provides a clear timeframe for students while allowing some flexibility in their academic progression.
The council also established a new procedure for handling changes in students' personal details. When modifications are made to information such as names or parents' names, the university will now mention both the previous and changed names on official documents, said officials.
