Ashok Gehlot has allotted 2.19 bigha of land free of cost to the Border Security Force (BSF) for tourism expansion in the Tanot Mata Mandir area located in Jaisalmer. Now, various construction works will be done by
BSF for the expansion of tourism facilities.
With this approval, tourists will be able to visit the temple as well as learn about the weapons, local art and culture and glorious history of the army in the Interpretation Center to be built here.
Apart from this, a glimpse of the visits made by prominent personalities of the country and abroad along with the bravery of the army will also be seen in the picture gallery. A waiting room, cafeteria and parking area will also be developed here for tourists.
Significantly, the maintenance of Tanot Mata Temple is done by BSF. Over the years, this place has been a centre of attraction for tourists. Thousands of tourists come every day. Therefore, the development of facilities at this place is necessary from the point of view of tourism. tnn
