Cops identify duo who shot at city jeweller

Jaipur: A day after a 32-year-old jeweller was shot inside his apartment on Sikar Road near Dher ke Balaji area, police on Monday claimed they have identified the two assailants. Jaipur police teams are raiding places and stated that money dispute seems to be the primary reason behind the attack.Naveen Soni sustained injury on his thigh and is undergoing treatment at the hospital. Two men on a bike had entered a building after informing the security guard that they were going to meet Soni on the fifth floor.“We have identified the two as Rakesh Yadav and Deva Gurjar. Rahul is a resident of Srimadhopur in Sikar and Deva is a resident of Jamwa Ramgarh on city outskirts,” said Kailash Bishnoi, additional commissioner of police (Crime).According to the police, cases are registered against Rakesh Yadav in Sikar, Jaipur and Jaipur (Rural) police districts. Rakesh was earlier arrested in a murder case registered at Amarsar police station in Jaipur (Rural). Later he was arrested with illegal arms. TNN
