Jaipur: Fighting unbeaten half-centuries by Aditay Saini and Naved Khan propped up Rajasthan against Punjab on the penultimate day of the Cooch Behar U-19 Trophy quarterfinal match at the Gokulbhai Somabhai Patel Stadium in Nadiad on Saturday.
Rajasthan batters fared a lot better in their second innings and now led by 24 runs with five wickets in hand.
Earlier, resuming at their overnight score of 237 for 7, Punjab added 132 runs to all out for 369 in their first innings. Opening batter Sagar Virk, who scored 194, and Rajvir Jaiswal (54) added 135 for the eighth wicket. Sunday will be the last day of the match.
