ALWAR: Majority from the Gujjar community have stopped supplying milk in the eastern parts of Rajasthan and NCR region despite milk being an imporant source of income for them.
Gujjar Aarakshan Sangharsh Samiti leader Kirori Singh Bainsla had recently urged the community members to stop the milk supply so that the middle class also realises their plight.

Since then, several members are either supplying milk to the agitators in Pilupura or spilling it on the roadside to express solidarity with the agitators.
"We want the message should reach the entire society that we are fighting for our genuine rights and the agitation should not be projected in a bad light," said Jaikishan Gujjar, a resident of Jhatitada village in Alwar district.
Another resident Dindayal Gujjar said the Gujjars sitting on the tracks are the worst sufferers and the public should not just think about its own convenience. "I have stopped selling milk for the past five days. Either we send it to the agitation site or spill it on the roads," he added.
"People have so many options to purchase milk but we have limited resources, still we are making the sacrifice just to let people know that they need to empathise and not ridicule us,"said Liladhar Gujjar, another resident of the district.
"We have been taking milk from the government dairy for the past five days. Our requests to milkmen to renew the supply did not serve any purpose as they continue to send supplies to the agitating Gujjars in Bayana," said Anil Saini, a resident.
