Jaipur: Talented Rajasthan speedster Ganesh Suthar and left-arm spinner Mohit Changra snapped up two wickets each to restrict Chhattisgarh to 257 for 7 on the opening day of the Col CK Nayudu U-23 Trophy quarter final at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium in Raipur on Saturday.
At stumps on Day 1, Chhattisgarh captain Deepak Yadav was batting on 29, while giving him company was Varun Bhuie (0).
Opting to field first, Rajasthan had reduced the hosts to 74 for 3 but a solid 112-run partnership for the fourth wicket between Mayank (81: 175b, 8x4, 2x6) and Rahul Pradhan (58: 101b, 7x4) rescued the home team.
Besides Ganesh Suthar and Mohit Changra's couple, Deependra Singh, Chetan Sharma and Anirudh Chouhan chipped in with a wicket apiece.
