City residents protest in sewage water

JAIPUR: Around 100 residents of Rampura Road area in Sanganer staged a sit-in protest in sewage water on Wednesday, demanding the repair of poor drainage system in the locality.

JDA officials reached the spot and talked to the residents, assuring them of a quick solution.

Local councillor Maya Devi said that though the local MLAs, Congress leaders and officials have been urged to resolve the problem, there has been no solution. “This is why there are these protests today,” she said.
