trains
with electrification of rail tracks and online monitoring of voltage and continuous fault checks. For this purpose, foundation stone of remote control centre was laid on Friday afternoon at divisional railway office. The first route to be electrified is Ajmer to Udaipur which is expected to be completed by December 2018.
The remote control centre for traction supply at divisional railway office in Ajmer will keep track of power supply, monitor fault, stop electric supply at certain sections and will control breakers. The electrification will have pollution free train movement in Ajmer division and will also help trains in gaining speed. The electrification work in Ajmer to Udaipur with a distance of 295.50 kilometers is in progress and mast erection work has been already been completed up to Bhilwara railway station.
It is another milestone in technology for Ajmer division. Chief electrical engineer of North Western Railway (NWR)

There will be also a traction distribution office for administrative work and other activities. Four-traction power control units with lot of accessories will be constructed in this remote control centre and traction distribution office.
