ALWAR: A month after a bull pulled off a 'Veeru' by climbing up a 60-feet overhead water tank in Ratangarh town of Churu district, a similar incident was reported in Nawai village in Bharatpur district where a bull climbed up a two-storey (22-feet) seed godown on Friday.

The onlookers were amused for hours, as the bull refused to alight from the rooftop, while rescuers kept making efforts to bring it down. The incident took place in Kawai village of Nadbai town in Bharatpur district.

The villagers arranged a JCB machine from Nadbai town, used for demolishing encroachments and buildings, to bring the bull down.

"We were surprised to see how the bull climbed on the rooftop through stairs at 7am. It took a lot of effort to make it abseil down the building using JCB machines," Kawai's sarpanch Manju Singh said. Later, the bull's legs were tied up with rope and just like in the Churu incident, the villagers used rope wire and safety belt to abseil the animal down the building.
