BSP releases 7th list of 20 candidates

JAIPUR: The Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) on Friday released its seventh list of 20 candidates for the upcoming Assembly elections in the state. The list was released by BSP state president Bhagwan Singh Baba.

So far, the party has announced 45 candidates for the Assembly elections in Rajasthan. BSP has fielded Babu Lal Salvi from Nathdwara against Assembly speaker CP Joshi.

It has announced the names of candidates in its list for seats including Udaipur Rural, Mundawar, Gogunda, Jhadol, Salumbar, Nathdwara, Udaipur rural, Bhim, Kumbhalgarh, Pratapgarh, Aspur, Chorasi, Ghatol, Garhi, Kushalgarh, Marwar Junction, Bhadra, Ladnu, Pokhran, Taranagar and Dhod (SC).

BSP supremo Mayawati had earlier said that her party will take a call on post-poll alliances or joining coalitions in the four states that go to polls this year—Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Telangana— after consultations. The polls for the 200-member Assembly will be held on November 25.

BSP-GGP alliance for assembly poll in Chhattisgarh

The Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) and the Gondwana Gantantra Party (GGP) have formed a pre-poll alliance to contest all 90 seats in the upcoming Chhattisgarh assembly elections. The BSP will contest 53 seats, while the GGP will field candidates in 37 constituencies. A sitting Congress legislator has also joined the GGP after being denied a ticket by the ruling party. The alliance aims to make significant progress in both reserved and general constituencies. The BSP has already announced its list of candidates for 49 constituencies, with Mayawati as one of the star campaigners.

AAP releases fifth list of candidates for Chhattisgarh assembly elections

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has released its fifth list of candidates for the Chhattisgarh Assembly Elections. The list includes 12 candidates for the upcoming elections, bringing the total number of declared candidates to 57. The party, led by Arvind Kejriwal, has also released a list of 37-star campaigners for the polls. The elections will be held in two phases on November 7 and 17, with the counting of votes scheduled for December 3. In the last assembly polls, the Congress won 68 seats, while the BJP won 15.

Congress releases third list of 19 candidates for Rajasthan assembly elections

The Congress party has released its third list of 19 candidates for the Rajasthan assembly elections, bringing the total number of nominees declared by the party to 95 so far. The candidates include Shoba Rani Kushwah, Rajendra Prateek, Wajib Ali, Harish Chandra Meena, Heera lal Darangi, and Lakhan Singh Meena, among others. The party had previously released two lists of candidates totaling 76. The election results will be announced on December 3, and the Congress is aiming to retain power based on its previous work and welfare schemes.
