The tragic incident occurred at Ambari on Thursday night, leaving authorities to identify one of the victims. Police have seized the dumper truck and initiated a case against the driver, who fled the scene.

NEW DELHI: Five people died in a car crash in Udaipur district, Rajasthan on Thursday night. The accident took place in Ambari when a car with five passengers collided head-on with a dumper truck.
Police say the car was driving on the wrong side of the road. “The car carrying five persons was on the wrong side of the road when the dumper truck collided with it head-on," said station house officer Himanshu Singh Rajawat.
The truck driver fled the scene after the crash. Police have seized the truck and filed a case against the driver.
The victims are Himmat Khatik (32) from Delwara Rajsamand, Pankaj Nagarchi (24) and Gopal Nagarchi (27) from Udaipur, and Gaurav Jinagar (23) from Sisama. The fifth victim has not yet been identified.
