JAIPUR: In the increasing cases of rape coming to light in Rajasthan in the aftermath of the Thanagazi gang-rape, a 25-year-old woman in Bikaner also registered a similar case on Saturday. The rape survivor alleged that she was gang-raped by three men on May 15. Police arrested all three accused on Sunday.
The survivor along with her husband reached the Chattargarh police station in wee hours of Saturday morning to register her complaint.

Sandeep Kumar, SHO, Chattargarh police station told TOI, “The survivor reached the police station around 3 am on May 18 to lodge a case against three accused who allegedly took turns to rape her on May 15 when she had gone into the forest area. They allegedly dragged her to a secluded spot and sexually assaulted her.”
The survivor, according to officials, did not approach the police earlier due to fear of her personal safety since all the accused are also locals. The three accused identified as Banwari Meghwal, Dinesh Nayak and Arif Khan were also arrested on Sunday and a case of gang-rape registered against them. All will be produced in court on Monday.
