11 killed in mishaps

JAIPUR: Eleven persons were killed and 12 injured in two separate road accidents in the state, police said.
Six members of a family were killed and as many injured late Wednesday night when a truck rammed into the van in which they were travelling near Sribalaji area in Nagaur district, they said.
The victims, all family members, were returning to Jodhpur from Bikaner.Four were killed on the spot while two succumbed to their injuries at a Jodhpur hospital, they said. Two critically injured persons were hospitalised in Jodhpur and two were admitted at Nagaur government hospital, they said.
In another accident, five persons were killed and six injured when their jeep collided with a truck in Sheoganj area late last night in Sirohi district here, police said.
