Maj Gen Jarken Gamlin sworn in as Arunachal CIC

Itanagar: Major General (retd) Jarken Gamlin was sworn in as the chief information commissioner of Arunachal Pradesh at the Raj Bhavan here on Monday.Governor KT Parnaik administered the oath of office to Gamlin.Gamlin is preceded by Rinchin Dorjee, whose tenure ended on August 12. He will hold office for three years or till he attains the age of 65.Gamlin was a member of the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission for a brief period. CM Pema Khandu, Arunachal Pradesh assembly speaker Tesam Pongte, cabinet ministers, Lok Sabha MP Tapir Gao, MLAs and members of the state information commission attended the swearing-in ceremony.

HEAD: 27_Rai_PB_Retd Justice Uboweja administered oath as chief Lok Ayukta

Justice (Retired) Inder Singh Uboweja has taken the oath as Chief Lok Ayukta of Chhattisgarh, administered by Governor Ramen Deka at Raj Bhavan. Chief Minister Vishnudeo Sai and other officials were present at the ceremony. Uboweja had previously served as a Judge of the Chhattisgarh High Court from January 2014 to May 2016.

No information commissioners in state, HC seeks govt reply
