Arunachal Pradesh Police bust inter-state sex trafficking and prostitution ring, rescue minor girls aged 10-15 in Itanagar after conducting raids and arresting 21 persons, including traffickers and customers, some of whom were govt employees. The girls were trafficked from poor families in Dhemaji and Udalguri in Assam.

10 new moth species discovered in Arunachal with villagers help

Residents of Gobuk village, mostly belonging to the Adi tribe, discovered 10 new moth species with the help of Titli Trust. They were aided with nature-linked livelihood options, binoculars, cameras, and laptops. The survey also recorded over 250 butterfly species, including Dark Freak and Blue-bordered Sergeant. The villagers received financial aid through a biodiversity meet attended by conservationists.
