Youth held with cannabis in Badnawar

Mhow: A youth was caught with cannabis in a bag on the outskirts of Badnawar town on Thursday evening. Sub-inspector Chandrapal Singh Rajawat of Badnawar police station said that a source informed the police about a person standing near the pond with cannabis, intending to hand it over to a customer.A police team reached the location and apprehended Pratik Dewda, 22, a resident of Indira Garden, Badnawar. When the poly bag he was holding was checked, 1.2 kg of cannabis worth Rs 10,000 was found in the bag.He was booked under section 8/20 of NDPS Act and was produced in court on Friday. The court sent him to judicial remand.
