Youth crushed to death on Dhar Road, bus torched

INDORE: A bus which reportedly crushed to death a youth at Dhar Road on Sunday was torched later by angry local residents. The incident took place when the bus, on way from Indore to Dhar, hit by 24-year-old biker Mahendra Pardi.
A resident of Machal area of the city, Mahendra was on way to Indore. Angered over the episode, angry residents emptied the bus of passengers and set it ablaze.Getting information about the incident, fire fighters were pressed into action and the fire was doused, but it had already gutted a major part of the bus. Bus driver Shanti Lal has been arrested.
Chain snatcher held: A 28-year-old youth Rupesh Rathore, who is allegedly involved in three chain loot cases over the last one month, was arrested by Tukoganj police on Sunday.
A resident of Banganga, Rupesh has admitted during primary questioning about snatching the chain of a young bank employee woman in Dhenu Market three weeks ago, besides committing two more chain loots in Palasia and Kanchan Bag areas in last one month.
