Wheat thresher claims life of tractor operator

Khargone: A tractor driver was crushed to death while operating a wheat thresher machine during harvesting work in Sonatalav village under the Barud police station area of Khargone district on Saturday evening.Barud police station incharge Girivar Singh Jalodiya told TOI that the deceased was identified as Ashok Kumawat (55), a tractor driver who was helping to thresh wheat in the field. During the process, he accidentally got pulled into the thresher machine.He said the police received information about the accident on Saturday evening. When the police reached the spot, they found the worker's body was trapped inside the section of the machine where wheat bundles are fed into the thresher. Kumawat died on the spot due to severe injuries, he added. TNN
