Two youths injured as groups clash in Rau

Indore: Two youths were seriously injured after an altercation between two groups in Rau area on Sunday morning.The groups beat each other and pelted stones, smashing windows of an SUV before fleeing. Both injured men are undergoing treatment at a private hospital."A fight broke out between two groups over a girl, which escalated. A cross FIR of violence was registered, and further investigations are underway," DCP Krishna Lalchandani said.On the complaint of Shubham Sanghvi, a case was registered against Vedant Tiwari, Mandal vice-president of BJP Yuva Morcha, Shreya, and others, whereas on the complaint of Shreya, a case was registered against Shubham Sanghvi, Prakhar Sharma, Suraj, and Ashwin.Prakhar claimed that they were returning in their SUV after having tea at a cafe in the Kishanganj area when they were allegedly chased. Their vehicle was intercepted mid-way, and they were assaulted. Vedant claimed that they were attacked by the group.
