Two-year-old girl dies after falling off balcony in Dwarkapuri area

Indore: A two-year-old girl died after falling from the first floor balcony of her grandparents' house at Shriram Nagar in Dwarkapuri on Saturday.The girl, Muskan, was the only child of Narendra Dashore. The family had arrived in Indore from Pithampur on Friday night for a two-day holiday to visit relatives. Dwarkapuri police said the incident happened while the family members were occupied with daily routines. Her mother was engaged in household chores while her father was nearby.According to the family members, Muskan was playing in the first floor balcony when she reached near railing. While leaning over to look down, she lost her balance and fell on the ground.The family rushed the child to two hospitals for emergency treatment. Despite medical efforts, she succumbed to severe internal injuries on Saturday night.The Dwarkapuri police have registered a case and initiated an investigation into the accidental death.
