Two arrested with 46g MD drugs

Indore: The Central Narcotics Bureau (CBN), Madhya Pradesh unit, arrested two men and seized 46 gram MD powder during an interception in Mandsaur following a tip-off about drug supply activity in the region.Officials said the action was carried out on March 12 and 13 after specific intelligence inputs that two individuals were transporting MD powder from Pratapgarh area to supply it to drug peddlers in Mandsaur. Acting on the information, a team from the CBN Mandsaur first division was formed and deployed to monitor suspected routes on the evening of March 12.During surveillance, the team identified the two suspects riding a motorcycle and intercepted them near MIT square in Mandsaur. A search of the vehicle led to the recovery of a plastic packet containing 46 gram MD powder. The duo was arrested under relevant provisions of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985.
