Truck driver injured in accident

Indore: A 36-year-old mini-truck driver sustained a grievous injury when his vehicle hit a truck on the Tejaji Nagar bridge area on Sunday late night, police said..The incident took place at 3 am, when Mansoor Patel, resident of Pithampur was returning from Bhopal after delivering a parcel, police said. Patel was approaching towards Indore when a truck moving ahead stopped suddenly after driver applied breaks. Patel lost control and hit the truck from behind, police said. Patel sustained grievious injury in the accident. The police was informed and he was rushed to to hospital, police said. The truck driver fled away with the truck from spot. The police trying to find out the truck driver, police said. Tejaji Nagar police incharge Abhishek Ranjan said that police had recorded the incident registering case against driver for rash driving. The police is further searching for the accused, Ranjan said. TNN
