Three-year-old injured after being hit by car

Indore: A three-year-old boy was seriously injured after being hit by a reversing car in the upscale Shanti Niketan area on Tuesday afternoon. The child was immediately taken to hospital by the driver involved in the accident, where he underwent surgery for leg injuries.According to Lasudia police station in-charge Taresh Soni, the accident occurred when two children were playing in the locality and were struck by a car being reversed. One of the children sustained injuries.Police have registered a case of accidental injury and arrested the driver. tnn
