. The fire reportedly destroyed assets worth crores of rupees, said officials.
The blaze was triggered around 2:00 am at the factory behind
Lasudia
police station in
SDA
Compound at Dewas Naka. There were some workers at godown when the fire broke out at the factory. Workers noticed the smoke and raised alarm, following which the fire tenders were called in but the chemicals took no time in catching the fire. Three fire tenders were rushed to the spot.
Officials were engaged in bringing the fire under control for a long time. They said 35 water tankers reached the spot and started dousing the flames.
