Indore: Lasudia police on Wednesday arrested three persons who were planning to commit dacoity at a house in the area.
The police recovered three stolen motorcycles, knives and red chilli powder from their possession. The trio accepted committing crimes in townships in Bypass and Lasudia areas.
ACP Bhupendra Singh said that they had received a tip off at 11:20 pm on Tuesday that some persons were planning to commit dacoity in Omaxe City 1 township. A team was sent to the spot--- a secluded plot in Ganendra Nagar on Bypass--- and three persons Mahesh Singh Chouhan, 25, Mahesh Singh Jamre, 24 and Dhanna Lal Singh Chouhan, 25, were arrested and booked under relevant sections of IPC and Arms Act.
Two others -- Keram Dawar, 35 and Mukesh Dawar, 20, managed to flee. All are residents of Dhar district. tnn
