Survey for Pithampur sec 7 starts

Indore: Madhya Pradesh Industrial Development Corporation (MPIDC) has initiated a survey for the upcoming industrial area Pithampur sector 7.MPIDC is pooling land from landowners to develop a new industrial area in Pithampur for which the development work is expected to start this month.An official from MPIDC wishing not to be named said, “A third party has been engaged to conduct the survey for Pithampur sector 7. The layout for the proposed sector 7 in Pithampur is sanctioned. The development will happen in phases for the new industrial belt for which land pooling is under progress.”The proposed sector 7 industrial area will come up on more than 800 hectares and for this consent and land pooling is done for over 250 hectare land, according to the officials from the industry department. The industry department plans to start the basic infrastructure work by this month.As per the plan, around 20 per cent of the developed area in sector 7 will be reserved for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises and women entrepreneurs.
