Mhow: Six members of a family were badly injured when a stray dog attacked them in Kewti village of Mhow tehsil early Saturday morning.
The incident, captured in CCTV installed in the house, went viral on social media by the afternoon.
Mansur Patel of the affected family told TOI that the family members were sitting in a courtyard behind their house talking after having their morning tea when the incident happened. A white-coloured stray dog, usually seen roaming in the village, came from the rear side and attacked one of them. When that person tried to save himself, the dog attacked another person sitting there. One of them was seen saving himself by holding a plastic chair in his hand in the video, but the ferocious dog kept attacking him, breaking the chair in the process.
Dr Mahendra Pathak of Mhow Civil Hospital told TOI that rabies vaccines were administered to all six victims.
