Indore: Gandhinagar police have arrested six persons accused of beating a man to death with stones and bricks near his house during Diwali celebrations. The accused admitted to murdering him over an old enmity with his son.
The incident had occurred on Thursday night, near Chouksey Farm House, where unknown assailants brutally murdered

A special investigating team led by ACP Rubina Mizvani was formed. Police gathered evidence and analysed all aspects of the crime, uncovering that the murder was a result of a long-standing feud between the accused and the victim's son. Using advanced technology and forensic support, the police were able to trace the suspects within a day.
Six people — 44-year-old Anil, a resident of Shankar Colony, 36-year-old Pankaj alias Bhola, 24-year-old Deepak alias Nana Parol, 20-year-old Devendra, 20-year-old Krishna, and 20-year-old Rahul, all residents of Gandhinagar — were arrested. A seventh suspect, Sameer alias Mohsin, is still at large, and police are looking for him.
A motorcycle and a scooter used by the attackers were also seized from the crime scene. The arrested individuals have a history of criminal activity, with Anil, Bhola, and Nana already facing multiple charges from previous cases. Anil has nine cases registered against him, Bhola has seven, and Nana has three. Preventive measures were previously taken against them.
DCP Vinod Meena said that while Anil and Bhola were arrested from Indore, the other accomplices were arrested from Ratlam. All the accused had fractures in one of their legs. They were injured while trying to evade arrest.
