Our marksmen will bring medals this time: Lt Gen Singh

Mhow : Looking at the past few months' performance of all three Indian army shooters namely Jitu Rai, Gurprit Singh and Chain Singh, it could be firmly said that they will bring medals in Rio Olympics.

Jitu Rai is already world no 1 in his shooting events and everyone is hopeful that he would bring Olympic gold medal. This was stated by Infantry School Commandant Lt Gen KH Singh while talking to TOI.

Singh said as far as equipment, arms and ammunition are concerned, army has provided all world class facilities to them. Also, their training is in progress and they have been trained by the best coaches of the world. AMU is a part of Infantry School that was raised in 1980s to prepare shooters from Indian army for the national and international shooting competitions.
