police reached the spot and recovered the bodies. “Their motorcycle was hit by the dumper truck from behind, and the man along with his children came under its wheels and got killed on the spot,” Mahesh Shukla, an investigating officer with Bilpank police station told TOI. Shukla said that the dumper truck driver, whose identity is not ascertained yet, fled from the spot immediately after the incident, leaving the vehicle behind. He added that the deceased were identified on the basis of an Aadhar card recovered from the body of the man. “The bodies have been recovered and are being sent for post-mortem examination, and the deceased’s family have also been informed about the tragedy,” said Shukla, while adding that a case under IPC section 304A and other relevant sections has been registered against the unidentified dumper truck driver. “The truck has been seized, and a manhunt has been launched, and the accused will be arrested soon.
