Indore: The city students excelled in the first session of JEE Main, with high percentiles and a strong overall qualification count. The results were declared on Monday evening by the National Testing Agency.
Riddhesh Bendale was among the high scorers from the city with 99.999 percentile. He secured a perfect 100 percentile in physics and mathematics, placing him among the country's highest scorers. Bendale had earlier won gold at the 55th International Physics Olympiad 2025 in Paris, France, a feat that earned him praise from chief minister Mohan Yadav last year.

Among girls, Anushka Agarwal stood out with 99.96 percentile, ranking among the high performers in Madhya Pradesh. Parth Maheswari secured 99.996 percentile, followed by Akshay Goyal with 99.969. Daksh Jain scored 99.957 percentile. Jay Longwani secured 99.950 percentile, and Anvesh Gami scored 99.950 percentile. Shreyansh Joshi achieved 99.95 percentile, while Gautam Bhatt scored 99.94 percentile. Eklavya Jat secured 99.92 percentile, and Sharvil Sharma scored 99.91 percentile.
Other high scorers from the city include Bhomik Pawar with 99.94 percentile, Atharva Deshmukh with 99.94, Yagyam Patidar with 99.93, Toshir Jain with 99.91, Sujal Patel with 99.91, Shubhang Deshmukh with 99.91, Arnav Sisodiya with 99.90, and Alekh Jain with 99.90 percentile.
More than 100 students from Indore scored above 98 percentile in this highly competitive examination. Nearly 1000 candidates from the city qualified in the first session and will now appear for JEE Advanced scheduled on May 17.
The second session of JEE Main will be held from April 2 to April 9, giving students another chance to improve their ranks.
