: A trial court on Thursday issued bailable warrant against four witnesses, including wife of deceased

The court issued bailable warrant of Rs 500 each against Ayushi, Nivesh Badjatya, Mohammad Iqbal, Manmeet Singh after they repeatedly failed to appear before the court for testifying in the case. on December 21. Bhaiyyu Maharaj’s elder sister, his daughter from first wife - Kuhu, another sister Anuradha, and Mohammad had recorded their statements before the court.

Bhaiyyu Maharaj had committed suicide on June 12, 2018. The police in its 366 page chargesheet had made a case of abetment to suicide, extortion and criminal conspiracy against three accused ---Vinayak Dudhale, Palak Purohit and Sharad Deshmukh. All the three had been arrested on January 18, 2019 after preliminary inquiry into the case.
