Indore: After remaining off the police radar for nearly seven years, five members of the notorious Kadiya Sansi gang were arrested by Ratlam police during a special crackdown on absconding criminals and property offenders. The accused, all carrying a collective reward of Rs 25,000, were allegedly involved in a 2019 theft case registered at Station Road police station.SP Amit Kumar said that acting on intelligence inputs, technical surveillance and continuous tracking, a police team led by Station Road TI Jitendra Pal Singh Jadon traced and arrested the gang members Mohar Singh Sasi, Babbu Sasi, Krishnabai Sasi, Kohinoor and Minakshi from Rajgarh district.During interrogation, the accused allegedly confessed to their involvement in the theft case. Police recovered stolen gold and silver ornaments worth around Rs 6.5 lakh from their possession. The recovered items included gold bangles, earrings, nose pins, a forehead ornament, a nose ring and a pair of silver anklets.Police officials said the accused had been evading arrest since 2019 and multiple teams were working on the case over the years.
