Delhi fog delays flights from city
INDORE: A Delhi-bound flight of Indigo was cancelled on Thursday while six other flights to the same destination were also delayed by more than one hour due to bad weather.
Airport officials said that flight operations were suspended as dense fog continued to engulf the national capital on Thursday. Reportedly, the visibility at Delhi airport was below 50 metre, which led to temporary suspension of operations, they said.

Around seven flights form Indore have been affected due to suspension of flight operations at Delhi airport, they added.
The first morning flight of Indigo (6E) 699 scheduled to take off from Indore airport at 7.00am had to be cancelled. Poor weather condition also affected departure of six flights to Delhi. An Air India's flight 635 to Delhi was also delayed by more than an hour. The flight, which was scheduled to take off at 8.50am, was allowed to depart at 9.42 am. Reportedly, it reached Delhi at 11.34am, after a delay of around 84 minutes.
Similarly, departure of Indigo's flight 509 to Delhi was also delayed by around 40 minutes.
