Decomposed body of unidentified man found inside Khandwa post office toilet

Indore: A heavily decomposed body of an unidentified man was found inside Khandwa head post office toilet in Bombay Bazaar area on Monday morningThe deceased, aged between 40 and 42 years, is believed to have died by suicide at least two to three days ago. The incident came to light when the post office employees returned to work after a three-day holiday. Upon entering the building, employees met with a foul odour emanating from the restroom area and immediately alerted Kotwali Police.Kotwali police station in-charge Pravin Kumar Arya said, while the man's identity remains a mystery, a railway ticket for a journey from Khandwa to Jabalpur was recovered from his pocket.The body was shifted to district hospital for a postmortem examination. Investigative teams were scanning CCTV footage from the Bombay Bazaar area and Khandwa railway station to trace the man's movements and establish how he entered the govt building undetected.
