Cop dies on duty in MP, reason unknown

INDORE: A 53-year-old head constable died on duty in Ramnagar area of Khandwa district on Monday morning. Police are yet to ascertain reason of the death.

The head constable, Komal Singh, resident of Dhar district was posted to Police Lines. He was on duty at a police point in the Hapla-Dipla area when the incident took place between 7am and 8am. Ramnagar police outpost in-charge Subhash Navde told TOI, “Head constable Komal Singh was taken to hospital where he was declared brought dead. A postmortem examination was carried out at the hospital.” tnn
