Indore: A digital marketing professional filed a complaint of rape and forced religious conversion against a cafe operator in Indore, following which police registered an FIR at Mahila police station in IndoreMahila police station in-charge Shraddha Yadav said a case was registered against Farhan, a resident of Budhaniya in the Hatod area.The survivor approached Indore police commissioner seeking action against the accused. The commissioner directed officials to send the complainant to the Mahila police station, where a case was registered.According to the complaint, the accused allegedly used his cafe to establish contact with young women and later exploited them. Investigators are examining the mobile phone of the accused as part of the probe.Farhan's name also surfaced earlier in a case involving a woman from Rewa. The woman later changed her statement, after which the police initiated preventive action against the accused.The accused also faced allegations related to occult practices in the same episode. Some videos surfaced in which the woman claimed she was subjected to tantric rituals. Audio recordings were also reportedly recovered from the phone. The woman later left Indore and returned to Rewa to stay with her parents after withdrawing the allegations.
