Attempt to tarnish India’s image: Scindia slams Cong AI summit stir
Ujjain/Indore: Union minister Jyotiraditya Scindia on Tuesday launched a sharp attack on the Congress over its protest during the recent AI summit in Delhi, accusing the party of attempting to damage India's global image.Speaking at the Rural Postal Service Workers' Conference in Ujjain, Scindia said the summit was a national event and not linked to any political party. "There are people who never miss an opportunity to undermine the country. The AI summit was not a BJP event, nor was it a programme of PM Narendra Modi. It was an event for our nation, India," he said.

Highlighting the scale of the event, Scindia said Presidents and PMs from over 25 countries were present, representatives from 30 countries participated, and around 10 lakh people attended from across India."With a new energy and a new dynamism, India is set to play a significant role in the transformation that AI will bring. In such an environment, the Congress tarnished the image of Mother India by engaging in inappropriate behaviour," he said.Scindia claimed that even opposition parties distanced themselves from the Congress' stand. "All political parties condemned this act. The Congress reached the extent of disgracing the country, leaving every citizen completely shocked," he said.He added that the people of the country already rejected Congress. "Now, the Congress leaders themselves are working to eliminate whatever remains of the party's existence with their actions," he said.
