50-year-old found dead in field in Scheme 136

Indore: A 50-year-old labourer was found dead in an open field in Scheme 136 under the Lasudia police station limits on Friday morning.Local residents found the body and alerted the police. The deceased was identified as Kadwa, a resident of Kabitkhedi. According to TI Taresh Soni, Kadwa's head had been crushed. The body was sent for a postmortem examination.Preliminary investigation suggested that the murder may have occurred following a dispute during a drinking session. Locals said that the lack of lighting in the nearby garden and surrounding fields has made the area a frequent gathering spot for antisocial elements. A case has been registered.
