3 hurt as groups clash over dance at marriage event

Indore: Three youths were injured in a clash between two groups after an argument over dance at a marriage function in Badi Gwaltoli of Palasia area.The police were informed and the injured were rushed to MY Hospital. Acting on complaints of both the groups, police have registered two cross FIRs under section 327, 323, 324 of IPC for voluntarily causing hurt, voluntarily hurt by dangerous weapon, voluntarily causing hurt to extort property or to constrain to an illegal act. Later, four persons were arrested and produced before a court, police said.The incident took place on Saturday night when Keshav and Abhishek had an argument with a few youths over dancing at a place during a marriage function. It escalated to an extent that Keshav attacked Rahul, Subhash, Anand, and Akash along with his friends, police said.Palasia police station in-charge Sanjay Singh Bais told TOI, “Both the groups reside in a same locality and are friends.” tnn
