3 arrested for dismantling financed trucks

Indore: Bhanwarkuan police on Monday busted a gang and arrested three persons who had been dismantling financed trucks by purchasing it from the owners while promising to pay EMI and selling it to people.
Bhanwarkuan police station in-charge Shashikant Chourasia said that they had received information that the accused had been committing fraud by purchasing financed trucks from people and selling them by cutting.
Police said that they had received a complaint from one Pawan Sharma, resident of Bhanwarkuan that he was defrauded. Acting on the complaint, a team was formed and actions were initiated. Acting on a tip off, accused Mohommad Javed, resident of Chandan Nagar, Rajesh Parmar, resident of Rajoda and Naeem Khan, resident of Chapeda village in Rajgarh were arrested and booked under relevant sections of IPC and further investigations were initiated against them.
“We received information that the truck was purchased by one Rajesh Parmar through a garage operator Javed. They were arrested and the nexus was busted. Javed had initiated the operation and Naeem cut the trucks into parts and sold it at high rates whereas the transactions and agreement were done in the name of Rajesh who was given a cut,” said Chourasia.
