1 killed, 3 injured in road mishap in Madhya Pradesh's Dhar

INDORE: One person was killed and three others sustained

critical injuries

when the car they were travelling in, overturned in

Dhar district

on Monday.

The victims were residents of Anand in Gujarat and were returning home after offering prayers at

Ujjain temple

when the car driver lost control at a sharp turn on

Petlawad Road

near

Yash College

, Dhar police said.

The car overturned and toppled on open land adjacent to the road, they said adding villagers gathered in large numbers and pulled the victims out of the wreckage.

One Gorang Patel, 32, sustained critical injuries and died on the spot. The rest, Sunny Patel, 28, Kishan Patel, 22 and Vishal Patel, 30, sustained injuries and were rushed to a nearby hospital.

Police have recorded the accident and were investigating the circumstances that led to the mishap.
