Warangal girl's last rites held, local netas console kin

WARANGAL: The body of BRS MLC Baswaraj Saraiah's cousin's daughter, Baswaraj Shravani (27), who died by suicide at Birmingham in London (UK) on May 9, reached Warangal on Thursday night.

A student of Bloomsbury Institute of London (UK), Shravani allegedly ended her life over a financial dispute with her schoolmate, D Sandeep Reddy, who is pursuing a Master's degree in Canada. Mills Colony sub-inspector (SI) T Suman said: "We have received a complaint against Sandeep Reddy. We are probing the case."

MLC Baswaraj Saraiah, BJP leader Errabelli Pradeep Rao and other local leaders consoled the family and also paid floral tributes to Shravani.

The last rites were held at Auto Nagar Graveyard.
