HYDERABAD: Director of super hit Telugu film 'Varsham,' Shoban died on Monday following a massive heart attack.
According to information, Shoban was at actor Bhoomika Chawla's house to hold discussion about a film starring the latter. He collapsed suddenly and died while being shifted to a private hospital at Madhapur.
Shoban started his career in films as assistant to well known director Krishna Vamshi.

He was given an opportunity by Krishna Vamshi to direct 'Boby' starring Mahesh Babu and Arthi Agarwal which went on to become a hit. Following this, he directed the super hit film 'Varsham' starring Prabhas and Trisha, which was produced by M S Raju. Later, he also directed 'Chanti.'
Shoban even acted as a comedian in 'Oka Raju Oka Rani.'
