Responding to the CM's request, Prasad immediately summoned the file and cleared it. The file will now go to Union home ministry and come back to the state for necessary amendments. A special session of the assembly will include the amendments in the bill that will go to the approval of President Pranab Mukherjee.

"The assembly will meet for a day to include amendments in the bill so that the final bill can be placed before the President. We are expecting his assent very soon as the Union home ministry agreed to expedite the process after the assembly ratifies the amendments," said a senior official who accompanied the chief minister.
