Telangana assembly elections 2018: KT Rama Rao violates election code

SECUNDERABAD: TRS star campaigner KT Rama Rao is under EC lens after he was found addressing a public meeting in Secunderabad Cantonment on Thursday at 10.30pm, beyond the 10pm deadline set by the EC.
Election returning officer of Secunderabad Cantonment constituency SVR Chandra Sekhar said: "We received a complaint about KTR's code violation during his campaign in Secunderabad Cantonment.I have submitted a report to the CEO, Telangana, along with evidence and awaiting his reply." Sekhar said action would be taken based on the report. KTR, as part of road show in the city, arrived in Marredpally at 10.03pm and addressed a rally which went beyond 10.30pm. - Sunil Mungara
