Stir at Yadadri over shortage of shrine buses

Hyderabad: Tension prevailed at Yadagirigutta RTC complex on Sunday after hundreds of devotees held a protest against shortage of buses to the hill top shrine.
As ‘moolanakshatram’, the most significant and auspicious day fell on Sunday, also a holiday, 11,412 devotees reached Yadadri. “On normal days, we run six to eight buses to the hilltop free of cost.We deployed 16 buses today. However, we did not expect this unprecedented rush,” Yadagirigutta RTC depot manager B Srinivas told TOI. tnn
