Rythu Bazar on JNTU-Hitec city road. The team tried to intercept a bike going towards JNTU. Instead of stopping the vehicle, the biker tried to escape by driving in the wrong direction towards

“The offender rode the bike at high speed to escape from the traffic police and hit

K Rajeshwar who tried to stop him. The bike rammed into barricades,” KPHB inspector S Laxmi Narayana said. The SI suffered a leg fracture and underwent surgery at a nearby hospital. Police have launched a man hunt to nab the accused.
