HYDERABAD: Seventeen varieties of drugs worth Rs 1.7 lakh were seized from the premises of Hari Medical Agencies, Inderbagh by the Drugs Control Administration (DCA).
The drugs were seized on Friday as the medical agency failed to produce purchase bills.
In another raid, Emal injections (batch No. NEM 021063), suspected to be spurious, were seized from Tagore Pharmaceuticals, Giriraj Lane, Hyderabad by drugs inspector R Chandra Sekhar.

They were manufactured by Themis Medicare Ltd, Vapi. The seizure was done under the supervision of DCA director M Venkata Reddy and joint director R Ranga Rao.
In a related incident, in Kurnool large quantities of physician samples were seized by drugs inspector T Bose Babu from three unlicensed dealers T Jagedesh, K Mohan and P Satyanarayana.
