Revanth Reddy will visit Medaram on Sept 23 and consult with Sammakka Saralamma priests on the development works to be taken up for the
Medaram jatara scheduled from Jan 28-31. The CM will take a final decision on the designs and development of the temple and its surroundings, and the jatara route, taking into consideration the suggestions of the priests.
At a review meeting at the command control centre here on Saturday, the CM directed the officials to constitute a technical committee regarding Medaram jatara works. The govt wants to further expand the existing temple premises as requested by the priests earlier. Revanth made it clear that all the traditions of Sammakka Saralamma jatara would be followed without any changes. Ministers, MPs, MLAs and MLCs from the ST community and senior officials will attend the review to be conducted by the CM in Medaram on Sept 23.
